This Manual is published in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, No. 2 of 2000 ("PAIA") and addresses the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").
 

The purpose of this Manual is to:
 

• inform the public of the categories of records held by MiFix360 (Pty) Ltd;
• explain how requests for access to records may be made;
• describe the records available without a formal request;
• provide information relating to the processing of personal information.

MiFix360 may request additional information to verify identity before processing the request.
 

9. GROUNDS FOR REFUSAL
 

MiFix360 may refuse access to records where permitted by law, including where disclosure may:
 

• violate privacy rights;
• disclose confidential commercial information;
• prejudice legal proceedings;
• compromise security;
• infringe intellectual property rights.
 

10. FEES
 

Applicable fees shall be determined in accordance with PAIA and applicable regulations.

Requesters will be informed if any fees become payable.
