User Verification & Trust Policy

1.PURPOSE
 

The purpose of this Policy is to establish the verification requirements applicable to all users of the MiFix360 Platform in order to:
 

• promote trust and safety;
• reduce fraud and impersonation;
• improve service quality;
• protect clients and service providers;
• support institutional and enterprise engagements;
• ensure compliance with applicable South African legislation.
 

2.SCOPE
 

This Policy applies to:
 

• Individual Users;
• Business Users;
• Institutional Users;
• Service Providers;
• Enterprise Service Providers;
• Administrators.
 

3.VERIFICATION PRINCIPLES
 

MiFix360 adopts a trust-based marketplace model founded on:
 

• Identity verification;
• Transparency;
• Accountability;
• Risk-based verification;
• Continuous monitoring.
 

MiFix360 reserves the right to request additional verification information at any time.
 

4.USER VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
 

4.1 Individual User Verification
 

The following are mandatory:
 

• Full names;
• Mobile number verification;
• Email verification;
• South African ID / Passport verification;
• Profile photograph.
 

Verified users shall receive a "Verified User" status.
 

4.2 Business User Verification
 

Business users shall additionally provide:
 

• Registered business name;
• CIPC registration number (where applicable);
• Physical address;
• Authorized representative details;
• Representative identity verification.
 

MiFix360 may verify business information against public records.
 

4.3 Institutional User Verification
 

Institutions may be required to provide:
 

• Institution name;
• Official institutional email domain;
• Designated procurement representative;
• Letter of authority (where applicable).
 

5.SERVICE PROVIDER VERIFICATION LEVELS
 

Level 1 – Basic Services
 

Requirements:
 

• Mobile verification;
• Email verification;
• Identity verification;
• Profile photograph.
 

Level 2 – Standard Services
 

Requirements:
 

All Level 1 requirements plus:

• Minimum of two references;
• Work history information.
 

Level 3 – Advanced Services
 

Requirements:
 

All Level 2 requirements plus:
 

• Business registration documents;
• Proof of address;
• Trade documentation;
• Relevant licences and permits.
 

Level 4 – Enterprise Providers
 

Requirements:
 

All Level 3 requirements plus:
 

• Professional registrations;
• Industry certifications;
• Tax compliance documentation;
• Public liability insurance (where applicable);
• Professional indemnity insurance (where applicable).
 

6.OPTIONAL TRUST ENHANCEMENTS
 

Providers may voluntarily submit:
 

• Police clearance certificates;
• Professional memberships;
• Portfolio of completed work;
• Additional certifications.

 

7.RE-VERIFICATION
 

MiFix360 may require users to undergo re-verification:
 

• periodically;
• following suspicious activity;
• following complaints;
• when documentation expires.

 

8.PLATFORM TRUST & SAFETY
 

Verification does not constitute:
 

• endorsement;
• certification;
• guarantee of competence;
• guarantee of future conduct.
 

Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable judgement before engaging other users.
 

9.FALSE INFORMATION
 

Providing false, misleading or fraudulent information may result in:
 

• suspension;
• removal of verification badges;
• permanent account termination;
• reporting to law enforcement authorities.

 

10.AMENDMENTS
 

MiFix360 reserves the right to amend this Policy from time to time.
